ASOWIP in Collaboration Organizations organized a training workshop.

ASOWIP in collaboration with MBOSCUDA and Women in Action against Gender-Based Violence (WAG) is pleased to have successfully organized a training workshop for Organizations in the project " Improving Access for Indigenous Mbororo Women and Girls to Essential, Safe and Multi-sectoral Services to end VAW/G within the context of the COVID-19 Pandemic and the Armed Conflict in Anglophone Cameroon.

The UN Sustainable Development Goal slogan “Leave No One Behind” greatly motivated the program. It highlighted those aspects of the Mbororo culture that reduce women and girls' access to social services. The main purpose of the training was to understand how Gender Based Violence service providers implemented in Muslim Communities, can work together to effectively respond to cases of GBV without going against the culture and beliefs of the people.
